DREAM

In 2007, came the fifth music album Dream (Sapnas) with the songs performed by Vytautas V. Landsbergis and Ramunė Landsbergienė. Of the 14 songs, four were written by Landsbergis, while the other ten are folk songs transformed by new arrangements. The modern interpretation of the folk songs is very diverse and colourful in this album with the contribution of the composer and musician Raimondas Rašpoliauskas, but the melodies remain authentic. Folk motifs mixed with soft piano improvisations enrich the poetry with jazzy sound, while the voices of Ramunė and Vytautas Landsbergis meet in harmonies or chase each other in polyphonic songs.
